About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
At GAMAAPRO, we believe in food that’s real, local, and rooted in care. Our Kala Honey and Kala Preserves are made in small batches using traditional methods and locally sourced ingredients from farmers in and around Dibeng and Olifantshoek.

We work directly with smallholder farmers and community growers who take pride in producing high-quality raw honey and fresh ingredients. By sourcing locally, we support rural livelihoods and contribute to building stronger, more resilient local food systems.
Every jar is a reflection of collaboration, care, and commitment to both taste and impact.

Our Story
Kala was born from a belief in the value of what’s local. The name comes from Kalahari — a reference to the land we call home, and a reminder that even in dry, remote places, rich things grow.

What began as a small project in the Northern Cape has become a collaboration between farmers, beekeepers, and food producers who take pride in their craft. From raw honey harvested in Dibeng to preserves cooked in kitchens in Olifantshoek, our products reflect a shared commitment to quality, care, and community.

Through Kala, we’re creating real economic opportunities where they’re needed most — close to home. Every jar tells a story of work, connection, and possibility.
